The State of Ohio Hazard Mitigation Plan was updated May 16, 2008. In accordance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000, a state must update its hazard mitigation plan every three years. Currently, the State of Ohio Hazard Mitigation Plan is considered a "Standard Plan" that also meets the Severe Repetitive Loss Program addendum requirements. This means:
