Siren Activation Ability:

  Sirens can be activated individually

   Sirens can be activated by zone

   Sirens can be activated countywide

Siren Activation Location:

   Sirens can be activated from the County Emergency Operations Center, Cincinnati Police/Fire,
              Dispatch 911 or Blue Ash Police Department

Sirens are tested:

   Once Monthly

    Tests are conducted on the first Wednesday of the month @ 12:00 p.m.

    The type of signal used for the test is a steady/wavering tone

Sirens are activated for the following conditions:

   During a tornado warning using a steady tone

    During a severe thunder storm warning using a steady tone
