Siren Activation Ability:

  Sirens can be activated individually

   Sirens can be activated by zone

   Sirens can be activated countywide

Siren Activation Location:

   Sirens can be activated from the County Emergency Operations Center, 

            911 Dispatch Center or Fire Department

Sirens are tested:

  Monthly

   Tests are conducted on 2nd Monday @ 10:00 a.m.

   The type of signal used for the test is a steady tone

Sirens are activated for the following conditions:

    During a tornado warning using a steady tone

    During a flood warning using a steady tone

    During a severe thunder storm warning using a steady tone
